eFinCert - ELECTRONIC FILING of CERTIFICATE of FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT COURSE

Effective December 1, 2013, Federal Rule of Bankruptcy Procedure 1007(b)(7) has been amended to permit an approved debtor education provider to notify the court directly that the debtor has completed a postpetition instructional course concerning personal financial management. Approved course providers for the District of Hawaii may file the Certificate of Financial Management Course using the electronic financial management course certificate filing program (eFinCert) below.

(Note: This system is intended for use only by course providers. If the provider does not directly file a Certification About a Financial Management Course (Official Form B 423) with the court, an attorney may electronically file the certificate using a login to CM/ECF. Otherwise paper copies should be mailed or delivered to the Clerk's Office.)

Approved providers of personal financial management
instructional courses (debtor education) using eFinCert

will need a PACER login

to file certificates in the District of Hawaii.
