eFinCert - ELECTRONIC FILING of CERTIFICATES of DEBTOR EDUCATION

Effective December 1, 2013, Federal Rule of Bankruptcy Procedure 1007(b)(7) has been amended to permit an approved debtor education provider to notify the court directly that the debtor has completed a postpetition instructional course concerning personal financial management. Approved course providers for the District of Hawaii may file the Certificate of Debtor Education using the electronic financial management course certificate filing program (eFinCert) below.

(Note: This system is intended for use only by course providers. If the provider does not directly file a debtor education certificate with the court, an attorney may electronically file the certificate or Debtor's Certification of Completion of Postpetition Instructional Course Concerning Personal Financial Management (Official Form B 23) using a login to CM/ECF. Otherwise paper copies should be mailed or delivered to the Clerk's Office.)
