ASSESSMENT FOR ADMISSION TO PRACTICE
Local Rule 83.1(e) of the United States District Court for the District of Hawaii requires that an assessment accompany an application to appear pro hac vice in the District Court or Bankruptcy Court. Effective October 1, 2010, the amount has been set at $300. If an application is filed electronically in the Bankruptcy Court, credit card payment may be made online using a credit card at the time of filing. If payment is made by check, the check must be payable to "Clerk, U.S. Bankruptcy Court." A refund will be sent to the applicant if the application is not approved.
POST JUDGMENT INTEREST RATES
The Bankruptcy Court uses the Federal Reserve's 1-year Treasury Constant Maturities rate, which is available on the Federal Reserve's web site. Scroll down the table there, to find this rate. You may also obtain historical rates at this same site.
