Absent contrary action by Congress, amendments to the Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure will become effective December 1, 2023, for these rules: 3011, 8003, 9006, and new Rule 9038. In addition, the following forms are being amended: Official Form 410A (Proof of Claim Attachment), Official Form 417A (Notice of Appeal and Statement of Election), and Form 1340 (Application for Payment of Unclaimed Funds).
