The United States Trustee has appointed Nima Ghazvini as the successor Chapter 13 Standing Trustee effective August 1, 2021. Mr. Ghazvini previously served as the staff attorney in the Chapter 13 Trustee's office in the Oakland Division of the Northern District of California.

Mr. Ghazvini succeeds Howard Hu, who has retired after serving as the trustee in the District of Hawaii since 1983 and in the District of Guam since 2005.
