Location

The bankruptcy court is located in downtown Honolulu in Bishop Place, a commercial office building at 1132 Bishop Street, situated between Bishop Street and Fort Street Mall, and South Beretania and South Hotel Streets.

After entering Bishop Place from Union or Fort Street Mall, take the escalator or elevator up one floor to the Lobby Level. Entrance to the Clerk’s Office is on the Fort Street Mall and mauka (mountain) side of the building. A government issued photo ID must be presented at the security screening station. The Clerk’s Office is located directly behind the security station. An interior elevator provides access to the courtroom one floor up.

The Clerk’s Office is open 8:30 AM - 12 Noon and 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

Parking

Public parking is available in the Bishop Place basement at 1132 Bishop Street. The parking entrance is located on the right side of Bishop Street as one drives toward the ocean. Parking costs $3.25 per half hour (daily maximum $32.50). The court does not validate parking.

Street parking with meters in the downtown area is very limited. Nearby municipal parking lots are located at:

• Chinatown Gateway, 1041 Nuuanu Avenue (entrance on Bethel Street)
• Kukui Plaza, 1255 Nuuanu Avenue (entrance on South Kukui Street)
