On December 19, 2023, the court issued an order adopting amendments to the local bankruptcy rules effective January 1, 2024. The amendments included new LBR 2083-2 governing sales of real property by Chapter 13 debtors and requires use of several new forms. Although this rule supersedes LBR 2083-1(c) addressing the same subject, that provision was not deleted or revised. In the attached proposal, subdivision (c) is amended to govern sales of personal property by Chapter 13 debtors.
